Job summary

Nor-ell is seeking a Packager/Wrapp er to join its manufacturing team in Saint Paul, MN. This role involves assembling cartons, wrapping products, inspecting items, and maintaining accurate packaging records. The position requires reading, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs in a hot, humid environment.

Working hours are 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with potential overtime. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred and physical stamina is essential.

Qualifications

• Able to count and do simple math.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and sort product at the line and wrap protective material around the product.
• Line and pad crates and assemble cartons.
• Inspect materials, products and containers at each step of the packaging process.
• Record information such as weight, time and date packaged.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products.
• Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in designated areas.
• Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails and hand tools.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.

The Packager/Wrapper packages materials and products to be sent to the customers.

The incumbent will work 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Some overtime work may be required.
