The Production Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating product flow across departments by developing and maintaining efficient production schedules that align with customer demand. This role requires strong awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs) and close collaboration with the management team to ensure daily operations are optimized for productivity, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.

The Production Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating product flow across departments by developing and maintaining efficient production schedules that align with customer demand. This role requires strong awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs) and close collaboration with the management team to ensure daily operations are optimized for productivity, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly planning from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Create and maintain accurate weekly and monthly production schedules.
  • Communicate regularly with all departments to understand how the production plan impacts their operations.
  • Manage finished goods inventory and ensure daily production schedules align with demand.
  • Understand key planning details, including raw material size and species, finished product specifications, and production department standards.
  • Monitor production flow and adjust schedules as needed to manage fluctuations in demand and capacity.
  • Verify the accuracy of daily shift reports and ensure finished goods output aligns with raw material input (yield).
  • Uphold the Mowi Code of Conduct, vision, and values.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work assignments and hours.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail with solid organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Use common sense to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Practice active listening and accept constructive feedback.

Qualification and Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel at an intermediate level or higher.
  • Experienced with ERP systems, including running reports and managing dashboards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment.

Education
