Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY seeks a Production Planning Intern to support planning, scheduling, and monitoring manufacturing processes across the full production cycle.

You will work from engineering plans to ensure timely availability of materials and labor, coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams, and help resolve schedule interruptions while providing status updates to the program team using MES.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, manufacturing/industrial engineering, or related field (or completed within 12 months).
• Preferred knowledge in scheduling or supply chain planning.
• Strong computer/analytical skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring manufacturing status to meet production requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, and program management.
• Ensure materials and labor availability and manage shortages and schedule interruptions.
