Job summary

Analog Devices seeks an Associate Production Analyst to plan and coordinate wafer production activities at the Wilmington Wafer Fab, ensuring demand, inventory targets, and factory performance are met. You will use manufacturing systems and data analytics to balance capacity and drive efficient factory execution.

Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize cycle time, delivery, and WIP, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and capacity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing data and drive actionable recommendations.

Analog Devices is seeking an Associate Production Analyst to support manufacturing operations within the Wilmington Wafer Fab. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating wafer production activities to ensure customer demand, inventory targets, and factory performance objectives are achieved. The successful candidate will utilize manufacturing systems, data analytics, and planning tools to manage production schedules, prioritize work-in-process (WIP), balance capacity, and drive efficient factory execution, with agility for change. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, the Production Analyst plays a key role in optimizing cycle time, improving delivery performance, and supporting strategic manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production systems to support business objectives.
  • Utilize manufacturing systems and database tools to generate reports, analyze production trends, and support decision-making.
  • Coordinate lot prioritization and factory dispatch activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve production constraints and execute recovery plans.
  • Participate in daily factory meetings and provide planning recommendations to support operational execution.
  • Support production planning and logistic activities.
  • Monitor and manage factory WIP to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Analyze factory cycle time, inventory levels, and capacity utilization to identify performance risks and opportunities.
  • Support capacity planning and forecasting activities to align factory output with demand requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, delivery performance, inventory optimization, and production efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing data and drive actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and execution.
  • Proficient with data extraction, analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer fabrication environments.
  • Experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, supply chain, logistics, or related analytical function.
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably PROMIS.
  • Experience using ERP systems, planning tools, and database applications.
  • Knowledge of production control, capacity planning, forecasting, inventory management, and scheduling methodologies.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, VBA, MS Excel or similar data analytics tools.

Job Req Type: Graduate Job Required Travel: No The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $27 to $38. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
