Position Overview:

The mission of the Production Planner is to be responsible for communication with the Customer Service Center and production.

Main Missions :

  • Control the maintenance of the Article File as well as the maintenance of Schedule agreements (especially the BOM number explosion in the management of technical changes).
  • Ensure proper processing of customer orders received via EDI.
  • Monitor the visibility of the logistics chain.
  • Validate weekly updates of the Capacity Plan.
  • Lead the weekly PHM meetings.
  • Prepare and conduct the monthly SOP meeting.
  • Control the integration of the Production Plan (short-term and forecast) into the system.
  • Ensure production boarding plans satisfy customer orders on time.
  • Guarantee the production and delivery of the right references, in the right quantities, at the right time.
  • Monitor production realization and KPIs.
  • Participate in QRQC analysis.
  • Validate and report analysis of customer orders versus installed/demonstrated capacity to support management decisions.
  • Communicate with CSC regarding order fluctuations (reductions and increases).
  • Negotiate with CSC on delivery plans considering factory conditions.
  • Validate premium documentation based on justified reasons (e.g., authorization email from CSC).
  • Control stock of finished products to avoid dead stocks/obsolescence.
  • Adjust plans to catch up on production delays, reflecting changes in the system.
  • Implement change meetings and communicate remaining production levels to move to new targets.
  • Coordinate with the YMK team at CSC to communicate remaining production quantities.
  • Ensure delivery plans for remaining production are met; alert management of deviations.
  • Maintain system orders for new projects to ensure timely raw material ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO TS 16949, Lear procedures, health and safety rules (ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001), and 5S principles.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities and cost-saving initiatives.

To be successful in this role :

  • University Degree
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, warehouse management, and production planning
  • SAP or similar ERP system knowledge
  • Proficiency in Office tools (Excel)
  • Good analytical skills

Language Skills:

  • Good communication skills in both French and English
