Job summary

Crossroads Staffing is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to manage work orders, release batch records, and schedule packaging line productions. The role requires close collaboration with Packaging, QA, Receiving and Distribution to meet Available to Promise dates.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production planning or scheduling, is proficient in MS Office, and has ERP experience, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment. Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production planning or scheduling experience.
• Familiar with manufacturing and distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and release batch records for packaging operations.
• Schedule productions across packaging rooms and attend daily meetings.
• Communicate priorities and scheduling changes to ensure on-time completion.
• Analyze MRP requirements for Finished Goods and release batch records.
• Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing and Packaging to resolve holds and shortages.
• Maintain accurate release dates and expiration dates for packaging jobs.
• Maintain item master and Bill of Materials related to new product launches.

Job Description
The Production PlannerScheduler is responsible for creating work orders, releasing batch records and scheduling productions of all packaging rooms. The PlannerScheduler attends daily production meetings, interacts with multiple departments, such as Packaging, Quality Assurance, Quality System, Receiving, Distribution, and communicates priorities, scheduling changes to ensure packaging jobs are completed on time to meet Available to Promise dates. The PlannerScheduler also performs item master and Bill of Material related tasks in supports of New Product Launches. Analyze MRP requirements for Finished Goods NDC and critical data to release batch records, determination of priorities, scheduling of jobs to various packaging rooms. Consolidates jobs to optimize batch sizes and maximize production efficiency. Creates Packaging Batch Records and documents all necessary data associated with job release with high level of accuracy. Scheduling jobs using PPS scheduling tools. Collaborate with Quality and Packaging to resolve product holds to minimize impact to fill rate. Maintains accurate release dates and expiration dates for Packaging Jobs. Reports on production progress and completion dates. Collaborate with Purchasing on material shortages that prevent jobs from being released for packaging. Resolve work order related issues to ensure completion on time. Item master and Bill of Material creation and maintenance.

Skills Required
HS Diploma or GED. 2+ yrs of production planning or scheduling exp. Familiar with manufacturing and distribution processes. Proficient in MS Office. Exp with ERP systems, preferably in an FDA regulated environment.
