Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Production Planner for a leading manufacturing company in North Canton, Ohio. This role supports a team of three planners to manage backlogs, prioritize orders, and run material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure on-time production.

You will generate purchase orders, monitor inventory and shortages, and work with assemblers and vendors to resolve issues while the organization migrates to Oracle Fusion ERP.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of production planning or similar experience.
• Experience with MRP and inventory control in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP implementations or system conversions.

Responsibilities

• Review production and material backlogs and prioritize jobs and orders.
• Execute MRP, generate and process purchase orders, and monitor material availability.
• Collaborate with assemblers, planners, and vendors to resolve shortages and keep schedules on track.
