Watlow in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules balancing customer demand and manufacturing capacity.

You will ensure material availability through coordination with Purchasing and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet on-time delivery goals. The role requires 3–5 years in Planning or related fields, advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Manufacturing preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules balancing customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor schedule attainment and adjust priorities as needs change.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure material availability and place purchase orders.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Quality to resolve constraints and keep orders on track.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems for real-time visibility.
• Analyze KPIs like on-time delivery and inventory to drive improvements.
• Support expediting with internal customers and external suppliers.
• Support Lean initiatives across planning and scheduling.
