Job summary

Phillips and Temro Industries (PTI) is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and optimize production schedules across product families to meet customer demand and improve efficiency. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

The role requires 4 years in production planning-related roles, ERP experience (SAP preferred), and APICS certification.

Qualifications

• 4 years: Relevant work experience in production planning, scheduling, materials planning or related functions within a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years: ERP system experience, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules that support customer demand, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency.
• Manage the timely release and maintenance of work orders to support production requirements.
• Partner with Procurement and suppliers to ensure material availability and continuity of supply.
• Communicate schedule changes, risks, and delivery impacts to stakeholders; adjust schedules as needed.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle management to ensure launches.
• Optimize inventory levels through planning parameters, safety stock, lot sizing, and replenishment strategies.
• Provide capacity, inventory, and production insights to support demand planning and sales forecasting.
• Analyze excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory and develop action plans.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on operational excellence and growth.
