Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Manufacturing / Materials Planner to generate a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and release job cards aligned with the plan. The role requires coordinating with Flow Leaders and Production Line Managers to ensure on-time starts and builds, while managing shortages to maximize enablement.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with MRP systems and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment with MRP exposure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• Ability to influence within a matrix organization.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
• Bachelor’s or degree-equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Generate daily and weekly production schedules.
• Manage shortages to maximize on-time starts and finishes.
• Release job cards in line with MRP and address exceptions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to provide output commitments.
• Define daily/weekly production goals to track plan adherence.
• Ensure resources are allocated and aligned to achieve the plan.
• Demonstrate teamwork and flexibility to work under tight schedules.
• Monitor integrity of job card data to ensure MRP signals are correct.
