ElectroCraft, Inc. is seeking a Planner to develop and implement an orderly flow of material and value-added assemblies across the manufacturing process. The role includes coordinating with outside services to maintain production flow and ensuring on-time delivery of quality products to customers.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing planning experience, proficiency in MRP systems, and a strong ability to collaborate across functions to resolve issues and meet master schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a B.A. or B.S. degree. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2 to 5 years of related background in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS certification desirable. Proficient in Microsoft applications. AX experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Determine planner codes, lead-times, and units of measure, and maintain in system.
• Plan production order releases to customer request dates where system driven requirements do not exist.
• Set up outside services as needed to maintain production flow.
• Work closely with team-leader, purchasing, value stream leader and manufacturing associates to schedule and flow work through the manufacturing areas using kanban, MRP, standard work instructions, etc.
• Coordinate Engineering change orders among cross functional groups where effectivity dates exist and implement system transactions.
• Make recommendations regarding defective purchased materials and alternate materials.
• Analyze and track plant performance metrics and propose improvements.
• Determine headcount requirements or assist in overtime decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement processes that enhance material flow (kanban, etc.).
• Contribute to timely completion of work assignments.
