• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive experience creating and managing production schedules.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems, materials planning, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience balancing production capacity, material availability, labor requirements, and customer demand.
• Strong background in project material management.
• Understanding of business processes and cross-functional relationships.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end production plan, ensuring alignment with MRP requirements, capacity constraints, and customer delivery commitments.
• Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule.
• Plan and release work orders based on sales orders and forecasts.
• Monitor work in process throughout the manufacturing operation.
• Lead production review meetings and drive discussions regarding build-plan status, constraints, and recovery plans.
• Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance to maintain the Internal Operating Plan.
• Monitor shipment performance and escape issues that could affect customer commitments.
• Prepare scheduling reports, dashboards, KPIs, and status updates for operations leadership.
• Track actual shipments against forecasts and identify performance gaps.
• Work closely with Manufacturing to develop a stable production schedule that accounts for capacity, yield rates, Kanban flow, and nonconformance disposition.
• Adjust daily delivery schedules when production issues affect internal requirements or contractual obligations.
• Identify and lead process, system, and data-quality improvements that increase planning accuracy and efficiency.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner and Control professional to support production scheduling and materials coordination within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient production flow, balancing capacity and material availability, and ensuring on-time customer delivery.
