Job summary

Spectrum Killian Dental Lab Alliance is seeking a Production Planner to own the daily production plan and manage workflow across the production floor. This hands-on role focuses on On Time Delivery and Turnaround Time, using live dashboards and Excel trackers to lead scheduling and capacity decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production coordination, scheduling, dispatch, or a similar role in manufacturing or high-volume lab environment.
• Ability to track and manage a high volume of concurrent jobs without losing items.
• Strong Excel skills—sorting, filtering, lookups, and pivot tables—regularly used in a working role.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability; data-driven decision making.
• Exceptional organization and follow-through; reliable and accurate.
• Willingness to escalate priorities when data supports it, in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

• Daily Production Planning & Load Balancing: build and publish the daily/weekly plan.
• Balance load across stations and shifts; identify conflicts before shift starts.
• Coordinate rush and special-handling cases without disrupting standard work.
• Maintain capability data, track WIP and days of supply; monitor aging and at-risk orders.
• Use lab management systems and dashboards to plan and monitor.
