Job description

Production Planner needed for a 12-month contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Clifton, NJ.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements.
2. Work from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
3. Advise management of the status of work in progress, coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, and interface with engineering, program management, and external customers.
4. Ensure the availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments.
5. Work to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
6. Proficiency in MS Office tools.
7. Minimum of 2 years of production management experience.
