As a Planner/Scheduler at Hubbell, you will plan and release production schedules to meet delivery expectations. You will schedule and coordinate the flow of work through manufacturing processes to meet and exceed production deadlines, maintain proper inventory levels, coordinate cycle counts, and improve customer satisfaction. This is an onsite position in Centralia, MO.

Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate production workflow through planning and scheduling functions
  2. Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  3. Collaborate across departments to determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand
  4. Release customer orders from the planning queue based on material availability and lead-times
  5. Drive customer on-time delivery and demonstrated lead time while maintaining optimal inventory levels
  6. Release purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders to buyers and suppliers
  7. Work with Quality, Operations, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns
  8. Manage customer returned goods (RGA) using the RGA procedure
  9. Maintain current promise dates on customer orders
  10. Manage inventory levels for assigned products
  11. Schedule work through the shop floor
  12. Expedite parts within and outside the company
  13. Prioritize work orders and coordinate with Operations to exceed customer requirements
  14. Analyze and adjust production schedules affected by changes in raw material and equipment
  15. Assist with physical inventory preparation
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. College degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  2. 2+ years of experience in production planning
  3. Experience with MRP, SAP preferred
  4. Working knowledge of MS Office
  5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent communication abilities
