Job summary

Tektronix in Beaverton, OR seeks a Production Planner to develop and maintain production plans aligned with customer demand, inventory targets, and capacity constraints. You will translate forecasts into executable schedules while ensuring material availability and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, program management and supplier partners to balance customer requirements with operational limits and drive continuous improvement across the supply

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production planning, supply chain, or materials management.
• Experience with Oracle Manufacturing/ERP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of MRP/MPS, production scheduling, and inventory control.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on orders, forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity constraints.
• Convert demand requirements into production schedules that support customer commitments and operational objectives.
• Manage planning exceptions, expedite critical orders, and resolve supply-demand imbalances.
• Monitor and maintain planning parameters, forecast consumption, lead times, and item planning attributes within Oracle."
• Cross-functional collaboration with Buyers, Manufacturing Supervisors, Program Managers, Engineering, and Operations leadership to align production plans.
• Communicate schedule risks, shortages, and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, inventory turns, schedule attainment, and on-time delivery.
