Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent knowledge gained through prior work experience.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 1-2 years exp in a manufacturing setup (any industry).
• Should know the basics of inventory management & Production Planning.
• Should have good Analytical Skills.
• SAP knowledge is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an operations field.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Duties:
• Schedule production by plan and customer requirements for assigned products.
• Plan and execute purchase orders for assigned suppliers/Production.
• Analyse and report plant performance against schedule requirements.
• Plan and execute transfer orders between assigned warehouses.
• Periodically rebalance
Production Planner Overview:
• The Production Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring production activities for assigned products as well as the flow of goods between assigned facilities within North America.
• The purpose of the position is to optimize the scheduling of manufactured products and the movement of finished goods so as to achieve outstanding customer service, meet Net Working Capital goals and best utilize space in the network of distribution centers.
• The Production Planner Associate will also have replenishment responsibility for selected suppliers/Production as assigned by the Production Planning Supervisor.
