Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop the assembly schedule so customer commitment dates are met and production is scheduled efficiently.

You will collaborate with the Master Scheduler, Plant Manager, and Operations Manager to adjust capacity, review orders, and coordinate shipping daily. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience, with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3–5 years of related experience.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of modern planning techniques, manual and automated supporting systems, product line and structure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop the assembly schedule to meet customer commitment dates and optimize production efficiency.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler, Plant Manager and Operations Manager to adjust scheduling capacity.
• Ensure accurate production reporting and an accurate plan; expedite high priority jobs as needed.
• Review orders for accuracy and alignment with engineering/production guidelines; communicate with customer service, marketing and sales.
• Coordinate daily shipping of units and ensure compliance with safety/environmental rules.
