The role owns the Master Production Schedule, coordinates with Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering and Finance, and drives continuous improvement to stabilize production flow.
Candidates should have a strong background in MRP, Excel, and data-driven reporting.

DRS Daylight Solutions is seeking a Production Planner and Control to support our scheduling and material analysis coordination with our Production Operations department. The Production Planner and Control position will play a critical role in ensuring efficient production flow, accurate scheduling, precise materials analysis and on-time delivery to customers. The candidate will create, own, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on production capacity, materials readiness, and labor availability. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the DRS Daylight organization and develop and implement Planning practices that support Daylight’s mission and growth.
The salary range for this position is $72,654/year- $103,895. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable).
