Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Production Planner in Manor, TX to help keep production flowing. You will develop and maintain production plans, manage schedules, and coordinate with engineering, quality, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to ensure on‑time delivery.

The role requires 1+ year of planning and supply chain experience, knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, and strong organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of production planning and supply chain management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • CPIM/CIRM certification preferred.
  • Strong production planning and scheduling experience.
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meeting facilitation and cross‑functional coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production plans and master production schedules.
  • Release, reschedule, and manage work orders throughout the production cycle.
  • Monitor production requirements and ensure on‑time delivery to customers.
  • Analyze material and component availability to support production schedules.
  • Reconcile production and material conflicts and resolve shortages.
  • Manage Work‑in‑Process (WIP) inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, and materials teams.
  • Evaluate and coordinate engineering change orders (ECOs).
  • Facilitate production, operations, and material status meetings.
  • Troubleshoot production control issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Monitor labor loading and capacity requirements.
  • Interface with customers regarding delivery schedules and production issues as needed.

Location: Manor, TX

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Training Schedule: 1st week (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
