Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Production Planner for an on-site role in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In this role, you will develop and execute production schedules, coordinate inventory and materials, and work across teams to support efficient operations and on‑time delivery. You will also help resolve material constraints and work with suppliers and purchasing to keep production needs aligned with customer demand.

• Work Arrangement: On‑site

• Schedule: 1st Shift

• Pay: $60,000-$70,000/year

• Employment Type: Full‑time / Salary

What You'll Do as a Production Planner

• Develop and execute production schedules that align production capacity with customer demand and support timely product delivery.

• Evaluate materials for cost-effectiveness while supporting quality standards and budget objectives.

• Collaborate with relevant teams to assess material quality and alignment with applicable standards and specifications.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain appropriate stock of parts and raw materials needed for production.

• Identify and address material‑related challenges while supporting key inventory performance objectives.

• Research and establish relationships with new suppliers as needed to support a reliable and diverse sourcing strategy.

• Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine the parts and materials required for manufacturing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Ability to solve problems effectively and implement solutions.

• Proficiency with software applications and tools used to support planning and inventory management.
