The role involves working with production management to address scheduling impediments and ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with extensive experience in customer service and operations, plus proficiency in MS Office and Oracle ERP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 7 years of experience.
• 2–4 years in customer service and 5+ in operations.
• Experience with coatings processes is a plus.
• Strong MS Office knowledge, especially Excel.
• ERP experience, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Schedule customer orders and respond to inquiries with plant personnel.
• Collaborate with production management to identify and resolve impediments to schedules.
• Help determine solutions for out-of-flow parts with engineers, customers, and production.
• Maintain relationships with customers for delivery schedules and issue resolution.
• Maintain current inventory counts for each processing step using Oracle and physical counts.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer visits regarding inventory and WIP reconciliation.
• Ensure data integrity for digital representations of customer part inventory and order status.

Production Planner

Ellisville, MS, United States | req28120 12 hour shift- 5pm-5:30am- Shift D

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will be responsible for day-to-day customer contact, working closely with plant personnel (cell leader, team leaders, sales, etc.) to schedule customer orders and respond to customer inquiries
• Further, you will be required to work with production management to identify and resolve potential impediments to schedules and contribute to determining solutions for out of flow parts, working with engineers, the customer, and production to resolve issues
• In this position, you will maintain an ongoing relationship with customers including delivery schedules, and issue resolution
• You will be responsible for maintaining current inventory counts for each of the different steps in the process, utilizing both Oracle as well as physical inventory processes
• You are the point of contact for customer visits regarding physical inventory counts and WIP reconciliation
• Also, you will be responsible for data integrity on digital representation of customer part inventory and customer order status

What Makes You Great

• You must have a High School Diploma or GED and 7-years of experience including 2 – 4 years in customer service and 5 or more in operations, specifically with coatings processes preferred
• You must have demonstrated ability to work with many business functions and a dynamic team
• You will need Microsoft Office Suite skills, including MS Word (Basic), MS PowerPoint (Basic), and MS Excel (Intermediate / Advanced)
• You will need Enterprise Resource Planning skills, such as Oracle (intermediate preferred)
• You must be self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with firm deadlines
