As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring alignment between demand, materials, and production capacity, helping drive operational efficiency and on-time delivery.What You’ll Do:Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts, engineering plans, and production specificationsCoordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned with production timelinesMonitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address changes in demand, supply constraints, or operational prioritiesAnalyze capacity and labor requirements to optimize production flow and resource utilizationTrack and report on key performance metrics such as schedule adherence and production outputIdentify potential bottlenecks or risks and proactively recommend solutions to maintain schedule integritySupport continuous improvement initiatives within planning and scheduling processesEnsure accurate data management within ERP and planning systemsWhat You Need:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operationsExperience working in a manufacturing environment (high-tech or semiconductor preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetProficiency with ERP systems and planning toolsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teamsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why Axcelis?At Axcelis, you’ll work alongside talented professionals in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression asyou develop within the role.Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in theAxcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regularemployees working 20+ hours a week).
