Kelly Services in Rochester, NY is seeking a Production Packer to support a premier manufacturing client. This full-time, long-term role offers steady work with overtime potential and competitive pay.

You will visually inspect bottles, set up a clean production area, maintain paperwork per quality instructions, navigate SAP screens, and operate equipment safely. Candidates should have a High School diploma, 2 years in manufacturing, be able to lift 35 pounds, and wear required PPE.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or packaging experience.
• SAP familiarity and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Walkie truck license preferred.
• English reading/writing ability required.
• Steel-toe/Composite toe shoes required.

Responsabilidades

• Visually inspect bottles from machines, conveyors, or bulk containers and make quality decisions.
• Set up workspace as a controlled environment with PPE.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain a clean production area.
• Maintain necessary paperwork per quality work instructions.
• Supply molding machines with raw materials and scraps.
• Navigate SAP screens and inventory balances.
• Support line clearance and ISO 9001 procedures.
• Operate assigned machines and alert supervisors to issues.

Shifts:

• $18.50- 1st shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm Monday–Friday, OT on weekends as needed
  
• $20.35- 2nd shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm Monday–Friday, OT on weekends as needed
  
• $21.28- 3rd shift: 10:30pm – 7:00am Sunday–Thursday, OT on weekends as needed

What’s a typical day as Production Packer? You’ll be:

• Visually inspecting bottles from machines, conveyor lines, or bulk containers and making quality decisions on each part
  
• Setting up your work area as a controlled environment (attire including hats, gloves, beard masks, coats)
  
• Performing housekeeping responsibilities to maintain a clean production environment
  
• Maintaining necessary paperwork and records per quality work instructions
  
• Supplying molding machines with raw materials, components, and scrap containers
  
• Navigating SAP screens and transaction codes to look up inventory balances
  
• Supporting line clearance procedures and adhering to ISO 9001 Quality Work Instructions
  
• Operating assigned machines or equipment and alerting supervisor or set-up personnel when issues arise

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School diploma or GED (required)
  
• Have at least 2 years of manufacturing or packaging experience
  
• Are familiar with SAP and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel)
  
• Can perform simple math (add/subtract whole numbers)
  
• Can read, write, and understand English
  
• Are licensed to operate a walkie truck
  
• Have excellent hand/eye coordination and can lift and load pallets up to 35 pounds
  
• Can work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt quickly
  
• Are able and willing to work overtime as needed
  
• Own and wear steel toe or composite toe shoes/boots
