We are currently searching for a Production Packer to work in our fast paced shipping department. The salary range begins at $18hr, depending on experience.

The Production Packer will be responsible for the production and packaging of a variety of manufactured products. This role supports several areas of manufacturing, including shipping, assembly and quality.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
  • Kitting operations of complex kits
  • Move product and inventory using a forklift and bin system
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • Execute and document quality inspections as required
  • Assembly and repack of automotive kits based on customer specifications
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion, meeting or exceeding standards
  • Final inspection of kits and packaging in compliance with customer specific requests
  • Comply with corporate and OSHA safety regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years experience working in production or any combination of education and work experience.
  • Must be able to meet all Department Productivity Standards
  • Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
  • Possess basic mathematical skills
  • Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
  • Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
  • Proficiency in English preferred
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time
  • May involve some repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
