LT Foods Americas is seeking dependable and responsible production packers for direct hire. The position involves 8-hour shifts, and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision are available after 30 days of employment.

The Packer's primary responsibility is to accurately count and pack cases of rice while ensuring product packaging meets company quality standards.

    • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

    • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Key Responsibilities (or Principal Accountabilities):

  • Assembles empty boxes.
  • Accurately counts and neatly packs 3lb. or 5 lb. bags of rice into 16 or 24 (quantity) cases while visually inspecting the product to ensure packaging meets quality standards (no holes, tears in packaging).
  • Pushes packed boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. into the case taper machine; replaces tape as needed.
  • Cleans/sanitizes equipment by collecting and disposing of raw material.
  • Adheres to company standards on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • May empty bags of rice to returned to the raw material.
  • May stack, arrange, and shrink-wrap cases of rice, weighing up to 50 pounds each, safely and efficiently.
  • May prepare boxes with custom labels.
  • May use a vacuum or weight scales.
  • Fill out the correct paperwork for the day's production.
  • Able to operate an electric pallet jack and walkie stand-up lift.
  • Make correct adjustments to the Erector box machine

Minimum Requirements:

  • Able to count accurately.
  • Able to speak, understand, and follow basic instructions in English and Spanish.
  • Able to work at a pre-determined pace on a production line.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a production plant is a plus!
