Responsibilities

• Review Manufacturing Orders for packaging instructions and approvals.
• Package materials as defined by MO.
• Record job data as required.
• Scan material used and start/stop of operations with handheld scanner.
• Move inventory using a handheld scanner.
• Fill and seal containers to required level (by sight, weight, or specs).
• Pack containers into boxes with product code, lot numbers and descriptions.
• Store packaged goods in designated area.
• Clean and secure work area at day end.
• Assist in training and cross-training of staff on tasks, processes and safety.

Job description

Nazdar is in search of a Packager to join our Manufacturing team in Shawnee, KS. This position will be responsible for packaging materials per manufacturing orders, ensures correct packaging materials and labels are used, verifies all identifying information is accurate including but not limited to, item number, lot number, description, and expiration dates. Additionally, will can and place proper manufactured material in appropriate container and affix labels or other identifying information such as size, color, grade, or process code, on merchandiser, material, or product.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews Manufacturing Orders (MO's) for packaging instructions and approvals
• Packages materials as defined by MO.
• Properly records job data as required.
• Properly scans material used and start/stop of operations using a handheld scanner.
• Properly moves inventory using a handheld scanner.
• Fills and seals containers to appropriate level either by sight, weight, or other specifications.
• Packs containers into proper boxes for shipping and/or storage and print boxes with appropriate product code, lot numbers and descriptions.
• Store packaged goods in designated area.
• Clean and secure work area at the end of the workday.

Assist in the training, onboarding, and cross-training of new and existing employees on job tasks, processes, equipment, quality standards, and safety procedures as assigned.

• Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
• Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
