Job summary

DSM-Firmenich in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Production Packer on 1st shift to weigh, fill, and label liquid chemical materials, using SAP, Weight Assisted Computer, and MES to track inventory.

You’ll follow safety protocols, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and collaborate with your team to meet quality standards. A High School diploma or equivalent is required; 1 year of chemical manufacturing experience is preferred, with knowledge of GMP and HACCP.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1 year chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Able to tolerate strong odors/allergens and lift up to 50 lbs; stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to instructions and recipes.
• Follow packing procedures including scanning to validate materials and precise weighing; test scales.
• Utilize SAP, Weight Assisted Computer, and MES to inventory containers and input data.
• Label containers correctly with appropriate label sizes; ensure tamper-evident seals and disposal of unusable labels.
• Close containers by crimping and sealing; maintain a clean, safe workspace per PPE requirements.
