Job description

Position: Production Packer
Location: Winchester, KY
Pay Rate: $18.17 ($1.00 shift differential for night shift)
Shift: 12 hour rotating shifts (7am-7:30pm OR 7pm-7:30am)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate production equipment safely, maintain excellent attendance, collaborate with teams, and identify defects in the packing line. Your personal skills in hands-on work, analysis, organization, and attention to detail are vital.

Location

This role is based at our Plastics facility in Winchester, KY.

Responsibilities

1. Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
2. Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment to meet quality and output standards.
3. Adjust equipment settings as needed to ensure quality.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in your workspace.
5. Complete quality checks accurately and timely.
6. Ensure product quality and report issues to supervisors.
7. Record production data accurately.
8. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of industrial warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Steel toe shoes required.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and basic math.
• Sense of urgency and responsibility.
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled conditions, including heat, humidity, and noise.
