Job summary

Solventum is hiring a Production Packer to support manufacturing operations at our Brookings, SD facility. This role involves 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts with starting pay of $22.26/hour plus shift differentials, onsite at 601 22nd Ave S, Brookings, SD.

You will help maintain productivity, perform quality tests, and assist in packing while following safety policies. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, or at least 1 year of production/warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• English language skills: ability to speak, understand and write clearly.
• 1 year of production or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations and maintain productivity targets based on machine rates.
• Perform quality tests and ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Assist in packing finished or semi-finished products and support teammates.
• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe plant environment.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

The impact you’ll make in this role

As a Production Packer, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.

This role works an 8, 10, or 12 hour shift (depending on shift availability) and includes starting pay of $22.26/hour plus shift differentials.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Maintaining an appropriate productivity target as determined through machine rates
• Performing tests at a high quality of standards set by quality specifications
• Supporting the team when packing out finished or semi-finished products
• Ensuring you own safety by following all related policies
• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (completed prior to start)

OR

• 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse role

“Nice to Have” Qualifications:

• Ability to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shift (depending on shift availability)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed

The starting rate of pay for this position is $22.26/hr, with the potential for future pay increase. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
