Job summary

ams OSRAM is offering a Production Packaging Operator position in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role involves packaging automotive lamps, inspecting quality, and supporting material flow through the line.

You will operate packaging equipment, perform small adjustments, and ensure safety and efficiency throughout the shift. No prior manufacturing experience is required, but you must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work with accuracy and reliability.

• Must be able to stand, stretch, bend, reach, and twist.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs on your own.
• Must be reliable and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Package automotive lamps into final consumer packaging in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Inspect products for quality and safely operate packaging and production equipment.
• Remain on your feet for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, lifting throughout the shift.
• Operate or attend all assigned equipment, tooling, and associated devices to achieve optimum production.
• Make minor adjustments to the equipment when applicable.
• Perform 100% and visual inspection, as assigned, using established methods and standards to meet acceptable quality levels.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned areas and observe company policies at all times.

We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). Production Packaging Operator

• Package automotive lamps into final consumer packaging in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Inspect products for quality and safely operate packaging and production equipment.
• Remain on your feet for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, lifting throughout the shift.
• Good hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity required to handle small components and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., move quickly, and support material handling and production flow as needed.
• Operate or attend all assigned equipment, tooling, and associated devices to achieve optimum production.
• Make minor adjustments to the equipment when applicable.
• Perform 100% and visual inspection, as assigned, using established methods, procedures, and standards to meet acceptable quality levels
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area (s) and observe company policies at all times.

Pay Rate: $18.63/hour Starting, progress to $20.23 after 9 months.
