Role Overview:
The Production Packaging Lead Associate applies extensive knowledge of proper packaging of materials and finished products. Responsibilities include loading and moving materials, operating packaging equipment, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Additional duties encompass relieving other operators, understanding robot operations, assisting with quality checks, and mentoring new employees. The role may vary depending on plant equipment and design.
Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Over three years of relevant experience, including training and facilitation
Skills:

Proficiency in PPA Skills at various levels, including safe work practices, quality inspection, operation of packing machinery, and leadership skills such as training and coaching.

Education & Training:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate Lead training and certification
Physical Demands:

Requires standing, walking, manual handling, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, temperature fluctuations, and the need for PPE in designated areas.
