Job description

Location Address:

Work Shift:
12hr-A Shift (United States of America)
The Production Packaging Lead Associate role requires extensive knowledge of proper packaging of materials and finished products. Responsibilities include loading, moving materials, and operating packaging equipment, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Relieve bagger and palletizer operators
  • Operate and understand robotic equipment and perform changeovers
  • Assist with quality assurance tasks as needed
  • Stand in for quality during DMR in absence of the quality lead
  • Participate actively in safety, quality, and morale initiatives
  • Serve as the shift floater or lead packer, mentoring new employees
  • Coordinate breaks for team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned, varying by plant
Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Over three years of relevant experience, including training and facilitation
Skills:

Proficiency in PPA skills at Level I, II, and Lead level, including safe work practices, professional standards, quality inspection, operation of packing machinery, and training/coaching abilities.

Education and Training:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate Lead training is required.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand, walk, handle, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds. Accommodations available for qualified individuals.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and temperature fluctuations. PPE required in designated areas.
