Job summary

CGT U.S. Limited is seeking Production Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts in New Braunfels, Texas. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with potential raises to $20.00 within 12 months, plus growth opportunities as the facility expands.

Responsibilities include safe operation of production equipment, defect identification, and data reporting to SAP. Training is provided and overtime/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Willing to work in non-climate controlled environment.
• Preference for automotive, chemical, textile, plastics, or rolled goods industries.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely in assigned positions.
• Identify defects and help root-cause elimination.
• Assist with setup and changeovers of products and equipment.
• Record data into HMI or SAP-based systems.

Production Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Department: Production Operator

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: New Braunfels, Texas

Reporting To: Production Supervisors

Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 / hour

Description

We are CURRENTLY seeking phenomenal Production Operators to join our team!

Starting Pay for this Role is $17.50 per hour with opportunities to increase to $20.00 over 12 months. Many promotion opportunities will exist as facility grows.

Training is provided for this role.

Work Hours:

• 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday - 3 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift - Sunday - Thursday - 11 PM - 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

What does a typical day look like? I'm glad you asked!

• Safe operation of the production equipment in various production positions as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Reports to his Supervisor and proactively involves himself in identifying the defects in the manufacturing of the product and efficiently eliminates the root cause.
• Production Operators assist with set up, product and process equipment changeovers.
• Data collection and reporting into HMI’s and or Production based computer programs such as SAP.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

What You Offer Us:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preference given to those in the automotive, chemical, textile, plastics, or rolled goods industries.
• Willing and able to work in all areas of production - mixing, printing, inspection, operation.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Willingness to adhere to environmental regulations and company procedures.
• Willing and able to move between one or more of the core processes at the discretion and or needs directed by the shift Supervisor.
• Willing and able to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Brownie Points if you have:

• Familiarity with HMI (Touch Screen) Operation.

Can train if you have a great attitude and are willing to learn!
