Job summary

Kaidi LLC, Grand Haven, MI, is seeking Production Operators for our first-shift team in a brand-new manufacturing facility. You will operate laser cutting, welding, powder coating, and assembly equipment on a 4-10s schedule with 3-day weekends, enabling meaningful hands-on contributions from day one.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of metal manufacturing experience, can read work instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on production experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Steel furniture manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with laser cutting, forming, welding, powder coating and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as laser cutters, press brakes, welders, a state‑of‑the‑art powder coat line, conveyors, and mechanical assembly stations.
• Ensure high‑quality production is achieved to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Work closely with production leads to meet production schedules with minimal disruption.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Other duties as assigned.
