Job summary

Express Employment Brighton/Howell in Michigan is seeking dedicated Machine Operators/Production Operators for a reputable manufacturing company in New Hudson. The role involves hands-on work across several production areas, strict quality standards, and teamwork to keep machines running smoothly.

Positions are on 2nd or 3rd shifts with training on the day shift for 4–6 weeks. This is a contract-to-hire role with shift premiums and a starting pay of $17.50 per hour, plus increases after training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Contract-to-hire position after a 2-step interview process.
• Willingness to train on day shift for several weeks.

Responsibilities

• Train and become proficient in assigned department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure machines run smoothly and meet quality standards.
• Grip, push, and pull carts loaded with parts.
• Periodically lift up to 50 lbs. with team assistance.
• Stand for 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Comfortable using hand tools and making adjustments and small repairs to the machine as trained.

Job description

Express Employment Brighton/Howell is seeking dedicate Machine Operators/Production Operators for a reputable company in New Hudson. This company specializes in producing high-quality engineered products across various production areas, including Material Handling, Cold-Heading(Forging), Collation, Sorting, Plating, and Heat Treat.

2nd shift; 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Must do train on day shift (6am-2:30pm) for 4 - 6 weeks. Has to work up to 6 - 7 days.
3rd Shift; 10:00pm - 6:30am. Must do train on day shift (6am-2:30pm) for 4 - 6 weeks. Has to work up to 6 - 7 days.

Pay starts at $17.50 per hour then get a $.50 cent increase after training.
Shift premiums are offered - $. 75 cents for 2nd shift and $1.00 for 3rd shift.

• Candidates must have a stable work history of 8-12 months or more in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• This is a contract-to-hire position, and will require a 2 step interview process (phone and in-person interview).
