Job Description

We are seeking an Ink Maker/Ink Tech to work Monday-Thursday, 4–10-hour days. The starting pay is $21.50 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift differential. This role involves manufacturing high-quality printing ink. Responsibilities include:

  • Following batch instructions to weigh, charge, and mix inks
  • Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
  • Monitoring and adjusting temperature and mix speeds
  • Operating milling equipment and adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
  • Filtering, packaging, and labeling inks
  • Making QC adjustments as instructed
  • Weighing raw materials
  • Operating mixers and forklifts safely

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing experience
  • Forklift certification and experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic math, communication, and mechanical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of 5S workplace organization
  • Understanding of TPM
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime, including weekends
