Job summary

3M in Tilton, NH is seeking a Production Operator for the 2nd or 3rd shift to produce electrical insulating paper and support global manufacturing operations.

You will operate production equipment, adjust material flows, drive forklifts (training provided) and follow 3M safety culture while applying Lean principles and basic MES knowledge.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing experience; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • One year of manufacturing experience in a private/public/government or military environment.
  • Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as part of the selection process.
  • Three years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Package, MES knowledge.
  • Understanding of Lean Management Systems, and lean tools.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • One (1) year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Pay & Benefits
  • The starting rate of pay for this position is $26.56. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
