SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor, the Production Operator/Associate is assigned to standardized work of routine nature involving molding machine operation and/or assembly of molded parts. Work generally involves the use of simple hand tools, trimming, retrieving, counting, weighing, packing and general overall inspection of parts. Responsibilities include distribution within the plant, placement and removal of parts from fixtures, monitoring and recording quality assurance, including charting of machine factors affecting quality. Production Operators/Associates are required to perform continuous visual and manual quality checks in accordance with standardized guidelines.
