About The Role: Our Production Operator manages our spray dryer process to ensure quality finished products for Selko’s customers.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating spray dryer and all ancillary equipment which includes feed tanks/pumps/valves, fluidized bed cooler, vibratory screen, and conveying equipment
• Responsible for ensuring the spray dryer feed meets quality specifications prior to drying and then monitoring finished product to customer specifications
• Periodically inspects and executes maintenance tasks on the production equipment, signalling defects and deficiencies
• Logs data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate logbooks / systems in order to have a complete administration and insight in the state and progress of production orders
• Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor, in order to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools and systems.

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

• 4+ years production operator experience in a manufacturing environment

Expectation from the Role:

• Must gain a working knowledge of process chemistry
• 24/7 shifts
