Job description

Job Title: Production Operator - Spin Molder I

Facility:

Buffalo, NY

General Description:

The Production Operator – Spin Molder I is responsible for operating the spinner and secondary equipment safely and efficiently. They must use molds, tooling, and measuring devices to ensure product quality. The role requires following directions from management.

Specific Duties:
  1. Follow proper start-up and shut-down procedures for spin molding machines.
  2. Report issues with machines to the manager and assist with cleaning and maintenance when safe.
  3. Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules; report dangerous situations, near-misses, and injuries.
  4. Participate in risk assessments and review them annually.

Qualifications:
  1. Meet all qualifications of the Production Operator job description.
  2. Experience with molding equipment preferred.
Physical Demands:

Requires standing, walking, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, lifting, bending, squatting, and maneuvering. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Not exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Must work with chemicals wearing PPE.

Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Safety glasses conforming to ANSI Z87.1+
  • Steel toe safety shoes conforming to OSHA standards
  • Hearing protection conforming to OSHA standards
  • Ability to wear respirators conforming to OSHA standards
  • Additional PPE as required

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday
