Job summary

IsoNova is seeking a hands-on packing operator in Social Circle, GA to lead and support production growth. Responsibilities include operating an Automated Packaging System, inspecting bags for proper labels and weights, and maintaining sanitation and safety protocols on the packing line.

The role requires hands-on experience with packaging equipment and a commitment to quality and safety. Training and full-time hours are provided on-site at our Georgia facility.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and ability to contribute to growth initiatives.
• Experience operating and monitoring packaging lines and related equipment.
• Knowledge of QA and HACCP-like processes.
• Follows Safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pack eggs into 50# and 55# bags and bulk bags.
• Operate and monitor Automated Packaging System and compactor.
• Inspect bags for correct labels, lot numbers, and weights.
• Dry blend powder and take samples for ash/moisture analysis.
• Maintain cleanliness of Packing Room and equipment; tear down and reassemble sifters and augers.
• Operate equipment: forklift, pallet jack, bulk bagging system, stacker, liquefier, coder.
• Complete HACCP paperwork and follow policies.

Want to join a team where you can demonstrate your leadership and help drive new growth?Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:Packing egg in 50# and 55# bags and bulk bags.Operate and monitor the Automated Packaging System.Inspects the bags for correct labels and lot/bag numbers.Operate and monitor the compactor.Dry blend powder.Pulls samples and does lab analysis for ash and moisture content.Identified wet finished product and checks for off color and bad odors in all finished products.Makes sure the weights in the bags are correct.Responsible for cleaning the Packing Room, tearing down and cleaning then reassembling the sifters and augers.Must clean the bucket elevator, automated packaging system, compactors and hoppers.Changes Dryer bags.Fills out HACCP paperwork.Must operate the following equipment: forklift, pallet jack, bulk bagging system, automatic stacker, liquefier and coder.Maintains a thorough knowledge of packing operations.Strictly follows all Safety procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment.Assures that established policy, procedures and work rules are followed.All other duties as assigned.Taking care of business starts with taking care of our associates!EEO Employer: M/F/Vets/Disabled
