SSAB in Iowa is hiring a Production Operator responsible for supporting safe and efficient steel production through operating and maintaining equipment. Responsibilities include following safety rules, operating equipment, and performing preventative maintenance.
This hands-on position requires a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work well with minimal supervision. Preferred candidates will have industrial experience and training in relevant fields.

The Production Operator is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient production of steel by operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment within the department. This hands‑on role follows established procedures and safety standards, performs basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, and collaborates with team members to meet production goals. The position requires flexibility to work rotating 12‑hour shifts in an industrial environment.
