Skill & Competency Requirements:

  • Must stand, walk, and handle materials with hands
  • Specific vision abilities include close/distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to read and interpret production orders, safety, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals
  • Basic knowledge of math, equations, and measuring instruments
  • Full-time work schedule with overtime as required
  • Basic computer skills

Schedule Requirements:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • 6 am to 2 pm

Job Summary:

Processing titanium sheets in the Shearing Department to meet customer specifications.

Fundamental Duties:

  • Move titanium sheet skids using a forklift
  • Physically lift, move, flip, and turn titanium sheets with assistance
  • Visual inspection of sheet surfaces for defects
  • Use micrometers and thickness gauges to measure sheet thickness
  • Perform minor maintenance on shear machines
  • Clean shear machines and work area periodically
  • Set up machines and monitor operation to detect malfunctions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
