Job summary

American Plastics, LLC is hiring a Production Operator for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Sycamore, Ohio. You will participate in production, inspection and packing of high-quality products and support continuous improvement.

The role offers day or night shifts with a rotating schedule that provides a long weekend every other week. Earn up to $21.00 per hour on days and $22.00 per hour on nights with perfect attendance; we also offer a $500 referral bonus, paid vacation from day one,

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Stand for extended periods, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs and up to 80 lbs team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and authorize background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation to promote zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing per customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply lines and packing areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Take on other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
