Job description

Hourly Rate of Pay: $23.00 per hour

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

Description

  • Responsible for an operating crew of 5 employees.
  • Assist in the selection and training process of departmental employees to create an effective operating team and establishing and maintaining effective communication.
    • Ensure Operator Rate Program is accurate and updated for each employee.
    • Ensure employees are engaged by using tools learned during Vertical Directions Training.
  • Incorporate Safety into all aspects of the operation and ensure that safe working conditions, actions and practices exist and are followed at all times.
  • Ensure that products are produced that will meet or exceed customer requirements and that the most efficient and economical use of machinery, raw materials and labor are continuously achieved.
  • Will work required overtime and any shift.
  • Supervise mine operations that include earth moving, stationary and crushing equipment.

  • Strong leadership, effective verbal and written communication, decision making and people handling skills, and the ability to work in a diverse workforce environment.
  • Business minded, people and results oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
  • Self-starter, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
