Job summary

Metalfab Manufacturing Inc. seeks production operators to support the manufacturing process, maintain quality, safety, and efficiency in their areas. You will work with leads and supervisors, learn machine operations, fill out paperwork, and perform quality checks on products.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety rules and company policies, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement within a structured quality system. Prior shipping/receiving exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Fully participate in and support the Metalfab Manufacturing, Inc. Quality System
• Operates machines at designated processes and manufacture product per control plan requirements
• Work in a safe manner and practice good housekeeping routines at all times
• Responsible for following all safety rules and regulations
• Responsible for following all company policies as outlined in the Company Policies
• Responsible for following all rules and regulations as documented and communicated
• Responsible for inspection of product and product conformance during manufacturing and legible records of inspection for product
• Communicates with the Management concerning nonconforming products
• Authority from the Executive Management Team to “Stop Production” for any nonconforming product or to stop potential escapes of nonconforming product to customers
