Veritiv Corporation is seeking a Post Gluer Assistant to operate the packaging/printing line in our Los Angeles facility. You will set up and run jobs to meet customer specifications and quality standards, while ensuring timely shipment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and collaborating with other departments. Prior experience and ability to lift and handle materials is expected in this production environment.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years of related job experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, job tickets, and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Operate machine per customer specifications and quality requirements while meeting deadlines and safety policies.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs when needed.
• Actively participate in the company's continuous improvement process to drive cost out of the process.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, job tickets, and procedure manuals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct production and shipment.
• Assist in other departments and work on special projects as needed.
