Job summary

LGI foundation in Iowa is seeking a production associate to operate packaging equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area. You will monitor product flow, record readings, and ensure label and documentation accuracy while adhering to GMPs.

Shifts include weekends and holidays with overtime as needed; candidate should be able to lift 60 lb bags and work with forklifts and pallet jacks in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and operate packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment under supervision of the shift supervisor.
• Monitor product volume, temperatures, times and pressure readings.
• Record gauges and documentation per procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Load bags onto pallets; lift 60 lb bags.
• Use forklift/pallet jack and print packaging labels.
• Follow GMPs and food safety policies.
• Assist in continuous improvement and process improvement.
