Job summary

Grain Millers in Newton, WI is seeking a Production Operator for first shift. No experience is necessary as you'll learn all production equipment in a rotational training program.

The Production Operator will support milling operations by operating equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, and helping ensure clean, efficient production. The role features a Monday-Thursday schedule (6am–4:30pm) with three-day weekends and a starting wage of $20 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills, ability to work in a team environment and attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow instructions and have good time management skills.
• Work independently while coordinating with other employees.
• Be willing to perform varying tasks per supervisor's instructions.
• Proficiency in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery used in cleaning and handling of specialty food ingredients.
• Operate bagging equipment and palletizer.
• Lift packaged products manually (up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis).
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
• General plant and ground sanitation.
• Frequently lift/move equipment, chemical containers, and other material.
• Wear personal protective equipment in the food processing areas.
• Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
